Charted and mapped areas of the US and sent detachments to perform similar functions in Alaska, Canada, Africa, the Middle East, India, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Kurils. Used a variety of aircraft, including F-2’s, F-3’s, F7’s, A-29’s, B-I~’s, &IS’S, B-24’s, and B-25’s.
